On October 21, China Merchants Port International College - Shenzhen Polytechnic Haisi Campus (hereinafter referred to as the "Haisi Campus") jointly established by Shenzhen Polytechnic and China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. (CMG) was officially inaugurated to explore the on- and outside-campus co-cultivation of high-level vocational talent at the port and shipping discipline and develop the model of the industry-education integration in the port and shipping field.

So far, Shenzhen has been the fourth-largest container port in the world, attracting more than 100 ports and shipping enterprises like CMG. As Shenzhen is advancing to build itself into a pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics, Shenzhen's port and shipping industry will usher in a new spring, so it is the right time to establish the Haisi Campus.
