Paintings of Fighting against COVID-19 by a Teacher from School of Art and Design Won the Second Prize in the Academic Year Exhibition of Chinese College Art works

Recently, faced with the current epidemic situation, Zhou Li, a teacher from the School of Art and Design, created three anti-epidemic paintings -Outline of Fighting against COVID-19 painting series -in her spare time, with focus on three aspects of most contacts in daily life, i.e. scanning QR code, wearing mask, and nucleic acid testing & vaccination. The works won the second prize in the 13thAcademic Year Exhibition of Chinese College Art Works. It is reported that the Academic Year Exhibition of Chinese College Art Works was already held for 12 consecutive sessions, and a total of 13,367 works were received in this session. Ms. Zhou Li has won numerous awards for illustration creation in addition to teaching. Recently, her works Bean and Animals in her Home stood out from nearly 8,000 entries and won the highest prize in the 7thBauhaus Award International Design Competition. Further, another series of her works “Colleague Series” also won the silver award of colleges, excellent instructor award and other honors in this competition.
