The Federal TVTI, established in 2011 under Proclamation 245/2011, is Ethiopia’s only technical and vocational training institute dedicated to producing skilled TVET trainers, leaders, and in-company technicians. Now governed by the Ministry of Labor and Skill (Proclamation No. 1263/2021), the Institute operates in Addis Ababa with satellite campuses. It provides education for professionals from Ethiopian regions and East African countries in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
